Essential Functions:
- Performs basic millwork tasks, including but not limited to:
- Machinery: operates basic hand tools, electrical tools, and other machinery under the supervision of management.
- Building: constructs simple boxes, including but not limited to drawer boxes, toe-kicks, and fabric panels.
- Cabinetry: constructs simple cabinetry, including but not limited to melamine base cabinets and commercial upper cabinets.
- Finishing: completes millwork by adding handles, drawer glides, locks, etc.
- Maintains machinery according to shop protocol on daily maintenance tasks.
- Cleans and organizes shop daily according to shop cleanliness protocol.
- Maintains an organized and stocked tool locker. Requests for and/or replenishes materials and supplies as necessary.
- Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and wearing protective equipment as required.
- Tracks assigned millwork projects/tasks and communicates progress to supervisor. Ensures completion of assignments in a timely manner while adhering to operational standards.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years of commercial construction, millwork/cabinetry, or related experience.
- Pay Range 20.00-24.00/hr.
