Springhouse, A ProMedica Senior Living Community in Pikesville is hiring a Wellness Director RN or LPN! 

The Wellness Director LPN supervises Wellness Staff. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident services that meet the health and daily living service needs and desires of residents and their families. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction. As the Wellness Director, you are a member of the Wellness Services Team. You are the coordinator of this team. You and your team are responsible for supporting the ProMedica Mission and achieving its goals.

Wellness Director Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, selects, orients, and trains Wellness staff
  • Plan, promote, develop, assess, interpret, validate, and evaluate the implementation of ProMedica’s programs, policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Assesses, plans, and evaluates care delivery systems, by monitoring resident outcomes, compliance with Quality Improvement Standards (as applicable) and State, Federal, and local regulations.
  • Calculating, submitting, and monitoring Facility Services costs against budget. Ensuring action steps are taken, as necessary, to maintain service area’s level of performance against budget
  • Providing in-service training to staff on assessments, treatments, and nursing care.
  • Assisting Executive Director with preparing annual operating budget for the department. Recommending capital purchases for building and equipment.
  • Maintaining on-going communication and coordinating care with advisory physicians, pharmacies, labs, home health, and other service providers to ensure resident needs are met
  • Maintaining and overseeing accurate maintenance of clinical resident records. Monitoring and ensuring compliance of infection control and universal precautions
  • Manages service delivery per resident service plans. Ensures that staff deliver and document resident services accurately
  • Monitors the health status of residents on an on-going basis and taking appropriate action for changes in status to ensure the well-being of residents

License: Must be a LPN in the operating state
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Years of Experience: Minimum of five years nurse management. Experience in an assisted living setting and/or other elderly care setting preferred.
