Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM) is currently seeking a Claim Services Coordinator Ito join its Claims Team at its company headquarters inBrookfield, WI. Under the direction of the Claim Services Supervisor, this position provides technical support and serves as a key resource for mandatory reporting. In addition, this position serves as a point of contact for the claim services team in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, via telephone, email, and other communication channels.

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide basic technical support and problem-solving resolution to the claim services staff.
• Act as a resource for mandatory reporting criteria for the Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act (MMSEA Section 111).
• Review and respond to claimant and medical provider concerns involving third party administrator handling of Medicare conditional payment claims.
• Examine, identify, and accurately interpret correspondence of mid to high-range complexity by utilizing software, databases, websites and resources. Use deductive reasoning to determine the appropriate course of action.
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from diverse people and create a positiveexperience for each caller under challenging circumstances. Actively listen to callers tounderstand the reason for their call, address all questions or concerns, diffuse anger and providean accurate and efficient response.
• Communicate with state workers compensation bureaus, attorneys, insurance carriers and thirdparty adjusters to request missing information and follow through to ensure information isreceived in a timely manner.
• Assist in the training process for new employees and provide ongoing training and support forexisting employees. Provide back-up support to the Claims Services Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a High School Diploma and a minimum of three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working as a Claim Services Coordinator I requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary.Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
This position requires one to sit for extended periods of time and stand and/or walk occasionally. The position requires one to occasionally push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 10 pounds. No personal protective equipment is required. Ergonomic equipment is available to employees.
