Auto Service Tech 2 - Full-time

POSITION OVERVIEW

Is responsible for inspecting and testing vehicles following Commercial Tire Standards; completing preventive maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters, and fluid exchanges.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Completed vehicle inspection every time and communicates to the front counter the items that are may need to be repaired.

· Consistently Inspect and recommend needed repairs and/or services using the vehicles inspection report.

· Is able to perform the following according to manufactures specifications:

o Vehicle alignments according to manufacturers specifications

o Performs vehicle Flushes

o Is able to repair and replace Brakes

o Oil Changes / Air Filters

· Service customer vehicles according to Commercial Tire guidelines.

· Change, repair and replace tires ensures proper torqueing on all jobs.

· Recommend products and services when needed

· Maintain a clean and neat work area.

· Support and track purchasing and returns.

· Perform other duties as assigned or needed

· Supports company safety and operational standards and adheres to all audit requirements

· Completes all necessary training and maintains certifications.

o ASE Training A4 – Steering and Suspension – within 1 year of being in position.

· Completes jobs in a timely manner and communicates when there are items that will take longer.

· 609 AC certification is required for air conditioning service repair.

· Participates in and completes all required trainings (example: Valvoline, TIA, safety, etc.).

· All other duties as assigned.
