Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary:
Feyer Ford of Edenton is seeking a full-time Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role will provide administrative support in the automotive industry and will be based in Edenton, North Carolina. As a Cashier/Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial part in ensuring excellent customer experience and maintaining the financial records of the dealership. This is an individual contributor role with a competitive salary range of $12 to $14 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process and record customer payments accurately and efficiently
- Answer customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues
- Maintain and balance cash drawer, ensuring accurate and timely cash count at end of shift
- Keep financial records and documents organized and up-to-date
- Collaborate with the sales and service team to provide exceptional customer service
- Handle phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Other administrative tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cashier and customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with basic accounting principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle numerous tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
