Pay: $17.50 - $18 / hour

Position Overview: The Host/Hostess plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for our guests and ensuring seamless coordination between the dining room and kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greeting Guests: Warmly welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, exhibiting a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

  2. Seating Arrangements: Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover and accommodate reservations, while maintaining a balanced flow of guests throughout the dining area.

  3. Reservation Management: Confirm reservations, manage the waitlist during peak hours, and effectively communicate wait times to guests.

  4. Menu Presentation: Provide guests with menus and assist them with any inquiries regarding menu items, specials, or dietary restrictions.

  5. Coordinating with Servers: Collaborate closely with the serving staff to ensure efficient communication between the front and back of house teams.

  6. Maintaining Cleanliness: Monitor the cleanliness of the host stand, lobby area, and restrooms, promptly addressing any issues to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

  7. Customer Service: Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a courteous and timely manner, striving to exceed their expectations and enhance their overall dining experience.

  8. Assisting with Special Events: Support the coordination of special events, private parties, and large group reservations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
