Loftness is seeking an experienced painter to join our team!

Job Summary:

Individual will spray surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or working areas with protective or decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel coat, or lacquer by performing the following duties and all other duties assigned:

• Applies masking tape or plugs over parts and areas that are not to be coated
• Operates plural component mixing and spraying equipment
• Sprays primer and paint on all parts and machines
• Fixes all runs and imperfections on painted products
• Cleans spraying equipment with brushes and solvents
• Keeps track of all supplies/materials needed and notifies purchasing 

Required Skills:

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach or twist.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Willingness to learn and follow established painting process.
• Strong organizational skills to manage painting schedules and materials.
• Experienced with painting techniques and equipment
  

Job Type:  Full-time

Hours:  Expected 40 hours per week
