Position Summary:

This role is more than a Wok Cook, it is the opportunity to act as a brand ambassador to bridge cultures through food. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education, quality customer service, and a positive experience at our restaurant! We are counting on you to be an extension of our brand.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a team player, and work together with your team to foster a healthy and warm atmosphere

  • Cook all Burmese and Chinese menu items in accordance standards set by the Kitchen Manager

  • Prepare cooking ingredients and portions prior to service

  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period

  • Stores away delivered goods in appropriate location following storing guidelines

  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area

  • Work closely and communicate clearly with other kitchen members

  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Fill in for absent staff as needed

  • Comply with health and safety codes

Qualifications:

  • Wok-Cook experience is a must

  • Team Player + Positive Attitude

  • Positive interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a multicultural & diverse team

  • Able to acquire a California Food Handler’s License (before or within 2 weeks of hiring)

  • Bilingual is a plus
