The Kitchen Steward is an essential part of the culinary team, ensuring safety and sanitation practices are diligently followed and setting up all positions in the kitchen for success. The primary function of the Steward is to operate all dishwashing equipment to sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, pots, pans, glass, cutlery, etc.

Starting rate for the Kitchen Steward is $16.00 per hour, based on qualifications. Jekyll Island Parking Pass will be paid by The Westin.

• Standing for long stretches of time
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
• Availability to work a variety of hours including evenings, weekends & holidays.
