Description:

The Facilities Manager will oversee all physical aspects of Bank property to guarantee functionality and safety of all facilities. To include coordination with Bank staff, contractors, vendors, and project management from renovations to new construction. Performing all duties in conformity with applicable regulations and established bank policies and procedures.


Essential Functions:

  • Plan and oversee all building maintenance and repair activities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for necessary services.
  • Manage associated vendors in accordance with the Bank’s Vendor Management Program.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Source cost effective solutions for maintenance improvements.
  • Plan and coordinate office relocations, remodels, or expansions.
  • Select, negotiate with, and manage relationships with external service providers.
  • Endure service contracts meet performance expectations.
  • Supervise facilities staff, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Proactive Relationship Management with leased properties to ensure lease expenses correlate to existing agreements, as it relates to CAM and OPEX changes.
  • Respond as need for disaster recovery and prevention.
  • Member of Business Continuity Team.
  • Other duties as required.

Bank Secrecy Act Duties:

In the performance of respective tasks and duties, this position must maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security, and Bank policies and procedures.

In compliance with all applicable regulations and Bank policies, this position is expected to successfully produce quality work within deadlines, with or without supervision; interact professionally with other employees, customers, and vendors, while always respecting the need for confidentiality of customer information. The employee will work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments and work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. Furthermore, the employee is encouraged to actively represent the Bank to customers and the general public in ways that promote the integrity, validity, and mission of the Bank by participating in community organizations, events, and activities. The employee is also expected to maintain a commitment to continuing education in the banking field through self-study and both in-house and outside training opportunities in all applicable banking policies, procedures, and regulations.

Regular and punctual attendance is expected, and appropriate attire is required at all times, while either performing job functions or representing the Bank at outside events and activities.


Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Three years of recent related work experience.
  • Must have valid driver’s license; Applicant must consent to a DMV check as part of the background check process.

Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English to understand instructions.
  • Ability to use various power and hand tools very efficiently and actively.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to diplomatically, yet effectively, communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of Bank staff, customers, and other related parties.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail; follow-through.
  • Self-reliance; resourcefulness.

Working Conditions and Other Information:

  • While performing respective tasks and duties, the employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

Equipment used:

  • Frequent: Computer
  • Occasional: Operate forklift

Physical Tasks:

  • Continuous: standing, walking, use of manual dexterity, talking, listening, reading and viewing; exposure to a variety of weather conditions such as heat, dust, cold, rain, etc.
  • Frequent: travel to other FNB locations to meet with branch staff and or contracted vendors.
  • Occasional: sitting.
