Join our Client's team as a Plastic Injection Mold Technician! Your role will be pivotal in supporting the manufacturing operations by ensuring the smooth performance of injection molding machines, maintaining molds, reducing scrap, and upholding product quality.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Machine Changeovers: Assist production in equipment changeovers.
• Material Handling: Responsible for material drying.
• Equipment Maintenance: Help set up, adjust, and maintain auxiliary equipment.
• Process Support: Aid in developing and maintaining process documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and record product quality, identifying and rectifying defects.
• Troubleshooting: Address production issues with minimal supervision.
• Maintenance Assistance: Support mold, equipment, and plant maintenance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in molding processes and mold performance.
• Setup Optimization: Improve setup and tear down processes to bolster production quality.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proficiency in Windows PC applications.
• Traits: High organization, self-motivation, and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Education: Technical degree or vocational training.
• Experience: Five years+ in injection molding; familiarity with Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
