Breakdown - Lumber Pullers

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced candidates for a Lumber Puller position with a local Hardwood Manufacturing Plant. This position will pay $16.00 per hour, and the hours are M-Fri from 6:00 A.M.-2:30 P.M.

Responsibilities:

• Move heavy lumber off chains into buggies at a fast and steady pace daily
• Adhere closely to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Has a High School Diploma or GED
• Capable of repetitive lifting at a fast and steady pace
• Capable of standing/walking on concrete for the entire shift
• Capable of working in a loud and monotonous environment
• Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Work boots and Face Mask
