Silverado is presently seeking a Full-time Driver/Pet Care Coordinator to join our team for Silverado Bellevue Memory Care Community. **Meet our associates and learn why they love working with Silverado:** **Qualifications:** **Education:**

* High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent required.

**Experience:**

* Minimum three (3) years driving experience; possesses and maintains an acceptable driving record.

**Other:**

* Ability to read, write and speak English.

* Must be able to complete written reports and/or checklists, and verbally communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English.

* Must have a valid driver license and any applicable endorsements for the State of employment and the type and size of the vehicle operated; if applicable, pass a Department of Transportation medical examination to obtain DOT medical certificate; and have passenger endorsement.

* Must have a clean driving record.

* Must have current auto insurance.

* Must possess knowledge of the rules of the road, and the ability to read and interpret road signs in English. Must be able to understand and adhere to the rules and regulations of State and Federal transportation agencies.

* Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds.

* Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimers disease and other dementia-related disease.

**Summary of Major Functions:**

* Operate and maintain company vehicles with a focus on safety and customer service.

* Transport residents of Silverado Senior Living to medical facilities and/or offsite social activities as scheduled and assigned.

* **This position includes PET CARE**. The associate will spend half of their time on pet care and half driving our van for resident outings.
