Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Collections Assistant is to assist in all collections procedures of the Accounting Department, working under the direct supervision of the company's Collections Supervisor. This, while maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of client, personnel, Company and President information.

Primary duties and tasks include, but are not limited to:

Collections

1. Handle Accounts Receivable and manage the aging of accounts working under the direct supervision of the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
2. Properly record payments received from customers and information requested on reports established in the Accounting Department.
3. Analyze assigned customer accounts and prepare regular and special reports.
4. Assist customers when they call to request any type of information related to their account. E.g.: Invoices, Account Statements, Payment Ratio, update information, etc.
5. Manage the payment of all Accounts Receivable.
6. Assist in the preparation and/or mailing of invoices subject to the approval of the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
7. Attend to any other management delegated to him/her by his/her Supervisor.

Requirements:

- Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to serve customers in a courteous manner
- Experience in customer collections and payment application.
- Ability to analyze customer accounts
- Goal oriented
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Knowledge in Salesforce (preferred)
- Bilingual - English and Spanish (preferred)
