Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the upkeep of our 120-unit property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in apartment maintenance, repairs, and management. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team and make a meaningful impact by ensuring our properties are well-maintained and our residents receive high-quality service. Responsibilities: Supervise, coordinate, and assist the work of maintenance staff, including assigning tasks, and providing training and guidance. Oversee and assist with the maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC units, and other mechanical equipment. Conduct regular inspections of units and common areas to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from residents and property management. Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs and services. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inventory, and expenditures. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations and fair housing laws. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular business hours. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in maintenance or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Proficiency in computer applications, including maintenance management software. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
