FX Middle Office Trade Support

Location: Onsite 4 days per week in Midtown, New York 10019 Duration: 12+ Months Interview: Video and in-person interview Job Description: Middle Office Sales Support team is responsible on supporting the Front Office Sales in the business of dealing FX. You will take charge the control and support functions of the operations initiated by the New York Front Office Sales, from the negotiation, recording and processing of the transactions. Your role will be to facilitate and smooth the processing of the operations by ensuring an effective and relevant control process of operations. You will be in constant relation with other group entities both internal (Front Office trading, Middle Office, Back Office, Compliance, IT, Product Control, Project Management) and external (clients, brokers etc.). You will develop various skills such as knowledge of financial products, knowledge of the financial market environment through best business practices. The position is based in the New York dealing room. You will report locally to the New York Head Middle Office Sales Support. Primary Responsibilities: The main responsibility is to control and guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of the Sales capture, amendment and life cycle events in FO systems. -FX product knowledge -Trade allocation from asset managers -New fund opening as needed -FX electronic platform experience, FX Connect, FXALL, BBLG, Harmony, etc -Middle office control, modification checks, risk reconciliation from FX Spot transactions -Proactive in monitoring daily activity to mitigate operational risks -Proactive and being present to response to emails or inquiries received by team in a timely manner.
