Qualifications of Journeyman Millwrights and helpers:

· Must be available to work 50-60 hours per week.

· Incredibly competitive weekly pay – pay based on experience

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be able to pass a Drug Test

· Good attitude and work well with others

· Some prior construction experience preferred

· Must have hand tools

Responsibilities of Journeyman Millwrights:

Responsibilities

• Installs machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in an industrial environment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools
• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools
• Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors, mezzanines, motors, rails using hand tools and power tools and fastens them to foundation or other structure
• Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs
• May operate engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications
• May repair and lubricate machines and equipment
• Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
• Performs other duties as assigned
