Summary
Partners in Learning, Inc. (PIL) is seeking a qualified Early Learning Specialist to provide home-based early childhood education services to families and children in their homes. Eligible candidates must speak Spanish and English.
Duties
Provide home-based, early childhood education and care programming to families with one or more children aged birth to three years;
Manage caseload of up to 12 families; facilitate weekly home-based visits to deliver programming based on provided curriculum;
Facilitate community education and awareness efforts to generate referrals and to develop relationships with key stakeholders;
Serve as substitute MANOS Teacher Assistant, as needed; Serve as MANOS Summer Program Lead Teacher; and
Maintain documentation, complete reports, facilitate referrals as needed, and comply with all program and Agency policies and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must have Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or a minimum of six (6) college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field;
Minimum of two years of experience engaging children birth through five years of age in center and/or home-based settings;
Must demonstrate evidence of strong communication, organizational, technological, and interpersonal skills to establish relationships with children and their families; and
Must speak English and Spanish.
