Position Summary:

We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable employee to join our production department. This position reports to the Shop Manager. This position supports the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

What you’ll do:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
• Uses blueprints, work instructions and pictures to ensure product is made correctly
• Light assembly, deburring of parts
• Record product and order information on specified forms and records
• Prepare customer orders for shipping and ship correctly and efficiently
• Various duties as assigned daily
• Use forklift to move materials
• Drive company box truck for pick up and deliveries
• Housekeeping duties including sweeping and garbage removal
• Comply with quality and safety programs
• Other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Previous experience in production environment
• Previous forklift experience
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Basic math skills required
• Previous experience with light electrical assembly and plumbing preferred
• Good finger and hand dexterity
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, standing and climbing
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to work necessary overtime
• Excellent attendance
