In-Home Delivery Driver

Salary: $720-$1000 Weekly

Applicants should have prior experience in delivering and installing large home appliances, such as refrigerators, washers, and dryers, ensuring they are fully operational before departure. Experience with basic installation techniques and the use of hand tools is essential, as you will be responsible for setting up appliances and performing simple connections following manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. We require a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role where the delivery and installation of household appliances were a primary responsibility. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of the tools and techniques required for the secure installation of appliances, including the ability to level units, attach hoses, and connect to power supplies and water lines.

This is a 6 day a week position (Monday-Saturday). 

We currently have 2-4 positions available to start as early as 02/26/2024

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers' homes within designated delivery windows.
• Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and other provided tools while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload products carefully and efficiently, ensuring items are secure and protected during transit.
• Deliver items directly into customers' homes, which will include assembly and installation of products as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Collect signatures as necessary and process transactions
• Communicate with management regarding delivery progress and any issues encountered.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle; conduct pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure proper functioning.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
  
  

As an In-Home Delivery Driver for Run Rapid, you will be accompanied by a dedicated helper to assist with navigating routes, loading and unloading items, and ensuring efficient delivery to our customers' homes. You both will work as a team to manage the physical aspects of delivery, such as lifting heavy items and safely transporting and installing them into customers' residences. 

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least 1-year experience in appliance installation
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, sometimes over 50 lbs.
• Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with technology, including the use of smartphones and GPS devices.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
