Description:

Job Purpose: Facilities Maintenance will be responsible of inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. This individual will oversee the company's facility operations while remaining in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Summary of Essential Job Duties:

  • Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance.
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
  • Execute equipment audits and record-taking policies.
  • Coordinate with department heads and facility management on new building projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols including OSHA logs.
  • Manage third party vendor relationships such as cleaning crew, suppliers and vending machine contractors.
  • Maintain required licensure for all building including occupancy certificates, city and state facility licenses and fire inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse control systems.
  • Able to read and understand electrical, mechanical and automation systems.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.

  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Ability to effectively present information.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in facilities management position.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Working knowledge of leases, contracts and related documents.
