What you’ll be doing to make an impact at GSRs:

• Welcoming and greet guests as well as thank them and invite them to return.

• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.

• Answering questions about our food/beverages/services and make genuine recommendations.

• Taking orders from guests and entering them into our POS system. Deliver the orders in a timely manner.

• Perform side work and maintain clean service areas.

• Monitor and observe the guests dining experience and respond promptly to any requests.

• Prepare final bill, present check, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change.

• Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers and bussers as situations arise.

• Performing other kitchen duties as assigned by a supervisor.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with basic knowledge of: dining room procedures, service procedures, money handling, and POS System operations.

• At least one year’s worth of experience serving.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with the ability to speak and understand English.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to:

• Standing and walking during an entire shift, averaging to 5 hours per shift.

• Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, shaking, stirring, pouring, and carrying supplies up to 50 pounds in weight.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds in weight on a regular basis.

• A team player’s mentality with good communication skills and the ability to stay positive under pressure.
