Warehouse Lead/Supervisor

Monterrey Tile, a leader in the tile and stone industry, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead/Supervisor for our Chandler, AZ location to join our Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and oversees activities in the Shipping/Loading department.
• Supervise/Lead small group, including delegating tasks, reporting absence, providing performance feedback and other duties as required
• Set an example for all employees by working in a safe manner, abiding by all Safety policies and procedures, and using all assigned PPE
• Monitor the safety of team members and colleagues and report concerns to the Operations Manager and/or HR Manager
• Report major problems or concerns with processes, employees or equipment within the department to Operations Manager
• Perform quality inspection on product leaving the designated area
• Assist management with hiring processes and new team member training
• Communicate deadlines to team members and provide hands-on support when there are operational delays
• Provide courteous customer service to internal staff requesting services from the team
• Work closely with employees to ensure the team is meeting production goals
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 year’s prior experience as Supervisor or Lead position

• Ability to read and interpret invoiced orders

• Knowledge and usage of measuring and testing devices, hand and power tools
• Basic math abilities
• Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills
• Uncompromising commitment to safety
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others

Shift: Days, Monday – Friday, Rotating Saturday’s
