Senior Corporate Tax Accountant

Wanting to get out of Public Accounting and into private industry? Our client is a well-established, multi-generational sales and distribution company seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Tax Accountant to join the team. Alongside the Tax Director you will assume responsibility for all aspects of corporate income tax responsibilities offer strategic solutions to the company’s Executive Board. Description -Prepare and review corporate and individual income tax compliance filings, including the partnerships, entities, individuals, and trusts - Stay current and up to date with changes and updates to tax laws and regulations -Manage and analyze quarterly and annual tax reports -Analyze, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts for month/year end close -Recommend tax strategies that align with the company’s business goals -Assist with internal audit processes -Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required -CPA Certification with at least 3 plus years prior public accounting tax experience required -Experience with tax preparation and planning for complex individual, corporate, partnership and trust returns required -Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and relevant laws - Excellent skills in Microsoft Suite and advanced Excel knowledge -Detail oriented, critical thinker and problem-solving skills -Strong attention to detail, proactive with ability to meet deadlines and take ownership of projects To Apply: Send your resume in MS Word format to Sheri Wright, sheriw@denham.net or call (559) 222.5284 if you have any questions.
