Position Overview: As a High School Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage students in dynamic science instruction, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state standards and curriculum objectives.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students and promote inquiry-based learning.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and hands-on activities to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts.
• Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to guide instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary connections and support student achievement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field with a focus on science.
• Valid South Dakota teaching certificate with endorsement in high school science.
• Previous experience teaching high school science preferred.
• Strong content knowledge and pedagogical skills in science instruction.
• Excellent munication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
