THIS POSITION IS APPOINTIVE SERVICE

$1,862.03 biweekly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes evenings and weekends as needed. Performs experienced professional work administering Natural Resources contracts and/or agreements that provide critical public services funded through various local, state, and federal grants.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Economics or a closely related field PLUS two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience in administering or managing program or project contracts. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Local government contract management experience is preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or main-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
