8% ANNUAL BONUS PROGRAM
Covelo Direct is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for full-time, benefit-eligible position near Cumberland, Maryland.
In this role, you will make customers feel welcome, meaningful, and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store. You will have contact with controlled substances, as well as other pharmaceutical products. Will serve as on-duty supervisor in the absence of the pharmacy manager.
Day-to-day duties include:
- Receive verbal RX orders and accurately reduce to writing in adherence with State and Federal laws and regulations
- Interpret, fill/refill, label, and bag prescription orders completely and accurately
- Provide drug counseling to customers and prescribers
- Be familiar with third party billing and procedures, facilitate charges for customer
- Maintain accurate records-including insurance-properly receive RX information from customers, correctly and accurately deliver RX to customers, assist with over-the-counter medication recommendations
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Supervising Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Associates
- *Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts*

Basic qualifications for this position include:
- Possess a current Pharmacist license in MD, with no board restrictions
- Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or have passed a foreign equivalency exam
- Successfully passed the NAPLEX exam
