Looking for 40 hours a week as a temporary employee with opportunity to convert to permanent role after 60-90 days if they prove themselves as an energetic contributing member of our team.
On-site working time in our office in Fort Wright, KY Mon and Wednesday 8am to 4pm and Friday 8am to 1pm with on-call responsibilities (see below for details). Hybrid Tuesdays and Thursdays

Job Description

Assist with Schedule / Call-Offs:

Learn franchise software package and sitting with office member to learn process of putting together schedule
Involved in the decision-making process of which caregivers to schedule with which clients
Talking to caregivers about open shifts and talking to clients if slight changes needed to accommodate caregivers who can work the shifts
Issue schedule each week for two weeks in advance
Expectation to move to building schedule independently within 3 weeks
Release schedules to Caregivers and Clients:

Send out notes via email/text to caregivers notifying schedule released. Document those that do NOT approve schedule by time identified. Alert Manager to any scheduling change needs - assist making changes when trained.
Mail schedules to clients and call clients who are notified of schedule via phone.
Managing Schedule and Changes During Week:

Assist with late arrivals, call-offs, calling caregivers to cover, possibly help cover shift
Reach out to anyone who has missing clock in/out times call to request actual times and input in system
Follow up calls to clients to see how new caregivers did
Follow up calls to caregivers to see how shift was
Document Caregivers who miss incentives
On Call

This position will participate in on-call rotation for after hours and weekends and helping dispatch Caregivers for call-off and no-shows as well as helping to address client needs
Other tasks may include:

Making follow up calls to new caregivers following their first shift, first week, and first month to ensure they are acclimated and have the skills and ability to be successful in their role.
Making follow up calls to new clients following the FLHC 7 touch points – to make sure they are pleased with service and if not to work with Manager to identify ways to address issues.
Assist Recruiter in evaluating, interviewing, and onboarding new caregivers
Other office related tasks to help out other team members in achieving company goals and mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understands and adheres to established FirstLight Home Care policies and procedures.
Creates and maintains staff schedules.
Provides staffing for sick leave, vacation, long term leave.
Schedules client appointments/visits according to care plans and staff availability.
Enters scheduling data, creates schedules.
Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes.
Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans.
Enters staff and client information into database.
Maintains staff and client database (e.g. employee assessments, dates and reminders of TB, client admission, client hospital admission and discharge).
Maintains staff and client statistics, and reports.
Maintains call – in and retention report.
Performs general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sort/distributes mail, provides reception and telephone services.
