We are a small four attorney office and are looking for an experienced litigation associate to help with challenging cases involving many aspects of real estate law. Our past work has included representation of property owners in lawsuits relating to habitability, HOA issues, premises liability and property damage claims. We handle cases related to encroachments, neighbor disputes, trespass, nuisance and a multitude of co-ownership issues. Our work often involves helping property owners with evictions, managing landlord/tenant issues, and also the defense of individuals and businesses paid by their liability insurers. We will place extra value on candidates with prior experience in these areas.\r\n\r\nOur transactional business involves advising clients in the purchase and sale of commercial and residential property. We help owners with appealing property taxes, negotiating and drafting leases, and the creation and/or litigation of easements, licenses and other use rights. We review and advise on insurance coverage and have been retained to draft, revise and litigate TIC, partnership and other co-ownership and CC& R agreements.\r\n\r\nWe provide basic estate planning services, thus familiarity with wills/trusts and power of attorneys would be beneficial.
