Position Summary
Coordinate delivery of customer orders, provide white-glove furniture delivery, help maintain customer relationships, and manage the warehouse, among other tasks. Learn the ins and outs of customer service and the furniture business. 

Our ideal candidate is honest, organized, curious, flexible, and congenial, with a willingness to jump in and lend a hand on whatever needs done at the moment. Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs.

Key Business Functions

1. Manage pickups from suppliers, loading trucks/trailers in a careful and organized manner while strengthening business relationships with suppliers. Work with transit companies to coordinate pickups and deliveries of customer furniture.
    

2. Schedule and deliver products to customers, maintaining and building customer relationships along the way.
    

3.  Manage and organize the warehouse. Maintain vehicles/trailer appearance inside and out.
    

4. Coordinate and manage repairs with builders and customers, as needed.
    

5. Inventory—Maintain inventory and pricing in Quickbooks. Work with the manager to keep in-stock inventory arranged appropriately on the showroom floor.
    

6. Sales and customer service— assist customers with their furniture questions and needs, leading to their eventual purchase; cover the sales floor with other staff; write up orders and quotes; finalize purchases and work with all staff through completion of orders.
    

7. Meetings and Events – attend staff meetings, mandatory store events, and the annual Amish Furniture Show.

Salary & Benefits

$38,000-$42,000 + commission and annual bonuses
