SUMMARY:  Provides confidential, prompt, efficient and accurate customer service on both the teller line and the platform.  Performs most duties with little supervision.  Looks for opportunities to meet customer needs by offering suitable products and services.  Recognizes that the customer is at the center of everything we do.  Assists Branch Manager in efforts to reach branch goals.  Respects the team approach to creating an atmosphere of positivity, success and efficiency for the best customer experience and for the professional satisfaction of each co-worker. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Maintains a teller drawer, settling daily within policy guidelines

·         Participates in ATM settlement and other general maintenance tasks

·         Understands products and services and how to offer them to a customer

·         Recognizes opportunities to refer customers to other areas of our Bank

·         Provides general account maintenance services to meet customer needs

·         Makes outbound phone calls for service and sales opportunities

·         Opens accounts preparing all related documentation

·         Follows our BSA and other Compliance related policies

 

·         Participates in completing daily branch tasks

·         Focuses on achieving new account, loan and referral goals along with customer outreach goals (i.e. business development, outbound calling and community service)

·         Trains and guides others in the branch to provide extraordinary customer service

·         Owns customer issues and opportunities until the customer is satisfied

·         Understands the basics of lending, assisting customers with their consumer and home equity loan needs

·         Provides leadership in the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager

·         Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS: 

 

·         High school graduate or equivalent.

·         Customer service experience preferred.

·         Cash handling experience preferred.

·         Strong verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to interact positively with internal and external customers.

·         Ability to multitask.

·         Ability to work well in a team environment.

·         Previous management experience preferred or good management, reasoning and judgement skills.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

 

·         Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 20 lbs.

·         Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach.

·         Must be able to count money repetitively.

·         Must be able to stand in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.

On December 9, 2004, County Bank opened a full service branch at 140 Broadkill Road, Milton, Delaware in order to give County Bank more presence in Sussex County.
