Position Title: Cook

Reports to: Management

Summary: Provide exceptional, perfectly-crafted Guest experiences every visit through diligent adherence to specs and standards. Be an instrumental team member by relentlessly committing to being clean, fast, and friendly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the highest quality food is properly executed by adhering to our recipe procedures
  • Preparing a variety of food with different methods of preparation and using a variety of tools and equipment
  • Following company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Communicating clearly and respectfully with Managers and all Team Members
  • Putting the guest first at all times
  • Approachable, professional, and courteous
  • Be a team player with a “can-do” attitude to deliver 100% guest satisfaction
  • Take pride in providing timely cook times to ensure our guests feel valued and well cared for
  • Assist with cost controls of inventory, stocking, and pars
  • Provide high attention to detail with the cleanliness of equipment, stations, coolers, walk-in, back dock, floors, walls, and all stainless

Education & Experience:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous kitchen / culinary / chef experience is preferred, but not required
  • Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicers, mixers, stoves, ovens, broilers, and flattops is desired
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts

Working Conditions:

  • 100% Walk and stand
  • 100% Operate equipment including but not limited to knives, slicers, mixers, stoves, ovens, broilers, and flattop
  • 100% Ability to read recipes, specs, and plating guides
  • 75% Cleaning and sanitizing
  • 75% Reach, bend, stoop, wipe, and lift up to 50 pounds
