In this role, you will be an integral part of an amazing forward-thinking team that includes the Runaway and Homeless Youth Social Worker, Street Outreach Case Manager, a shelter program and a transitional living program throughout Manchester. Team dynamics and group cohesion is a priority! We believe that ending youth homelessness is possible. The Droop-In Center/Outreach Staff members will act as conduits for programming between between the Drop-In Center and Shelter programs and ensure the safety of all participants is maintained throughout the space. Physical, mental, and emotional safety will be built based on unconditional positive regard. The Drop-In Center/Outreach Staff will utilize harm reduction and positive youth development to perform job duties. This is a Full Time position that requires a flexible schedule with the possibility of some evenings and weekends.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Minimum of 1 year working with at-risk youth preferred
  • Lived experience is looked upon favorably
  • Experience in outreach, sexual assault prevention, and treatment strategies preferred
  • Successful criminal check, NO history of abuse, neglect, or exploitation
  • Must have a valid Driver's License, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and liability coverage of a minimum of 50,000/100,000 for coverage
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours
  • Must be able to walk long distances
  • Must be able to travel to community sites and other community locations
