General Summary of Position:

Responsible for leading and managing daily crew operations and job site coordination. This will include, but not limited to, operating heavy equipment and overseeing daily maintenance of equipment, maintaining a safe worksite and coordinating on-site crews, subcontractors, and project management teams of owner and contractor.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge and experience reading, understanding and implementing construction plans

Ability to organize and maintain records of daily operations

Thorough knowledge of proper use and daily maintenance of construction tools and equipment

Strong interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of people

Thorough knowledge of job site safety requirements and necessary precautions

Ability to facilitate safety training sessions

Working knowledge of heavy civil, underground utility and site construction tasks

Experienced, motivated, dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently

General Work Environment:

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment

Regular exposure to below ground operations and conditions

Regular exposure to outside construction conditions and inclement weather including heat and humidity

Exposure to loud noises

Regularly working around fast moving vehicles
