"Follow-The-Bag" Program 2024
GOALS OF THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Our internship program is based on a set of learning objectives to help you prepare and meet career responsibilities. The goals of the program are:
- Apply, evaluate, test and integrate academic knowledge and theories in a work setting.
- Develop and expand knowledge about yourself and your abilities, strengths, and interests in a work setting.
- Hands-on application throughout multiple business departments.
- Allow opportunities for creative problem-solving in a real business environment.
- Challenge current mindset to encourage personal & professional growth, while developing emotional intelligence.
INTERNSHIP DETAILS
Financial Considerations:
- This is a paid internship and the hourly wage will be discussed upon interview
Internship Features:
- Departmental Exposure to Purchasing, Production, Finance, IT, Sales, Inventory Control, Graphics/Marketing, and Equipment (subject to change based on department availability)
- Onsite Customer Visit
- Weekly Development Meetings

- End of Internship Presentation

- Volm Companies, Inc. is located at 1804 Edison Street, Antigo, WI.
Timelines:
- Students should submit their application by March 28th.
- Internship dates are June 3, 2024 – August 2, 2024.
- Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm (varies by department)

- Students who participate in an internship would ideally have a junior or senior status.
