Northern Gold Foods is looking for an Inventory Control Analyst to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be committed to accountability, accuracy, initiative and having a high level of ownership. This is an opportunity to work for a leading manufacturer of a wide range of healthy breakfast and snack food products.

The primary responsibility of this full-time position (Monday - Friday, Day Shift) is to monitor inventory physically and electronically to ensure a high level of accuracy using both our accounting and warehouse management software. This position reports to the accounting department and works closely with our warehouse, production, and quality departments. This position spends approximately 60% of the day on the warehouse floor interacting with inventory.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use company warehouse management software and scanners to perform cycle counts.
  • Complete end of production runs reconciliations by organizing large amounts of data and pull key information out.
  • Reconciling floor counts to our accounting software.
  • Identify and resolve inventory issues using critical thinking and collaborative problem solving.
  • Adhere to and manage inventory controls.
  • Prepare items for destruction or disposal both physically and using our internal tracking software.
  • Spearhead inventory analysis and assist with other accounting or warehouse projects as needed.
  • Balance a flexible workload both on the floor and in the office.

QUALIFICATIONS

The right candidate will:

  • Be accurate, analytical, and curious.
  • Have two or more years of warehouse, accounting, or inventory analysis experience.
  • Have strong computer skills including minimum proficiency in Excel and the rest of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Work well independently with excellent time management skills.
