Customer Representative / Patient Services Department

Must have qualifications:

• Previous Office experience working with all standard office equipment
• Proficient with various Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Strong working knowledge of explanation of benefits, CPT-4/HCPCS codes and ICD 10 diagnosis codes
• High School Diploma/GED
• 2-yr degree a plus
• Previous work experience in the area of customer service, client relations or client support- Verify patient information and update records as necessary

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing processes is a plus
