We are seeking a dependable and organized candidate for our Class B truck driving school who possesses a great deal of physical and mental stamina who thrives working long hours on the road and can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.

Strata CDL School Requirements

• Theory Classroom Training
• Behind-the-Wheel Training

• Must pass a background check and drug test

Class B Truck Mixer Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily truck inspections, responsible for routine and preventative maintenance, keeping truck clean, inside and out. Report all other needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Operate truck equipped with auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver ready mix concrete to customers as assigned.
• Use safe driving practices and traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate with customers to understand job requirements and any job site conditions relevant to unloading material in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and present a positive company image at all times.
• Cleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in the mixer and/or on the truck.
• Ensure all DOT, OSHA, EPA, DNR, Federal, State, and local safety and environmental regulation and company safety program compliance including attending training as required.
• Maintain and protect all property and keep it in excellent condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support and improve the overall team operations..

Class B Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Valid Class B commercial driver's permit required
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• DOT Medical Card is required.

Compensation:
The compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experience. Behind-the-wheel training is paid.

Must possess current valid driver license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
