Position: Lighting/Design Engineering Technician Summer Intern
Shift: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-5:30pm
Location: Aledo, TX
The Tri-County Electric Cooperative Lighting/Design Engineering Technician Summer Intern is a program that will give current students an opportunity to gain real life skills and experience in a professional environment. We are looking for individuals who want to blaze their own career path and be a part of a growing organization.
Job Description Components of the Program:
- Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments
- Develop office and analytic skills needed for career
- Attend regular departmental meeting calls covering a variety of areas of the department
- Provide assistance with lighting and electrical design projects.
- Submit an Organization Evaluation on the student's intern experience during the final week of the internship period
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering college degree program
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
- Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Available to work program dates
