Job Title: Pet Boarding / Daycare Leader

Compensation: $16 per hour

We are avidly searching for someone with experience in the dog industry to become part of the team as our new Pet Boarding / Daycare Leader! If you love working with dogs and cats and are looking for a new career, we encourage you to apply! Successful applicants will have had 1 prior year of direct experience handling dogs at a different boarding, daycare, or veterinary company.

Kennel Attendant Responsibilities:

• Monitoring play groups of all breeds and sizes.
  
• Prepare meals, clean cages and bedding, and maintain overall cleanliness.
  
• Safely approach and restrain cooperative animals as needed during their stay.
  
• Provide routine attention to animals, including walking dogs.
  
• Remove and wash soiled laundry and keeps clean laundry stocked.
  
• Communicating details of the pets stay/behavior to owners at drop off/pick up.
  
• Checking over kennel attendants work to ensure it is done to company standards.
  

Kennel Attendant Qualifications:

• 1 Year of previous experience as a Boarding / Daycare attendant or lead.
  
• Must be well trained on dog body language and behavior.
  
• Must have a basic knowledge of dog anatomy & health.
  
• Must love dogs and cats!
  
• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
  
• 100% reliable transportation.
  
• Available to work hours as listed above including weekends, holidays, and spring break weeks.
  
• Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
  
• Able to hold/restrain dogs of all sizes.
