Job Description

Job Description

Our goal is to provide a loving home-like environment for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years. We will implement a curriculum that offers a variety of activities and experiences to meet each child's intellectual, social and physical development. Our Omaha early childhood programs are designed to stimulate the growth of the children, while also focusing on each individual child's needs. We believe that each child learns at their own rate and in their own way. Our teachers strive to find that "key" that will unlock each child's own individual potential. We offer a variety of teacher directed activities that lead a child to be successful when they take that next step in life.

Hiring Immediately!

We have several full time teacher positions available! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for the children.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment
  • Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields (preferred, not required)
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Communication is key!

Our teachers at our center utilize the Brightwheel program to provide consistent and open communication between parents and teachers. Brightwheel allows you to be actively involved in the child’s learning experiences and achievements. It also provides real-time updates regarding such things as the child’s meals, toileting, and napping. Photos and videos can also be shared via the app. These features inspire confidence in knowing the child is well cared for and having a positive experience.
