General description

The Marketing Director is a senior executive responsible for overseeing an organization's marketing strategies, initiatives and campaigns. They lead a team of marketing professionals to develop and execute plans to promote the company products or services, increase brand awareness and drive sales. The role involves analyzing market trend, identifying target audiences, setting marketing goals and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing efforts. They also collaborate with other departments such as sales and finance to ensure alignment and maximize results.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives.

2. Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.

3. Oversee all aspects of marketing campaigns, including brand management, digital marketing, advertising, PR, and events.

4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts are integrated with sales, product development, service and other departments.

6. Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to initiatives that deliver the highest impact.

7. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing efforts.

8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.

9. Represent the company at events, conferences, and speaking engagements to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree completed is required, in Marketing is preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Marketing roles
  • Bilingual [English and Spanish]
  • Deep understanding of trends, social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Strong leadership and people team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Skills in change management
  • Available for travel outside PR
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google online applications, CRM tools, online analytics, Google Adwords, among others
  • Focus on engaged external and internal customers.
  • Customer service and teamwork-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates good body language and conducts appropriate.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic vision and ability to make informed decisions.
