Job Description

Role: Payroll Specialist

Location: Newark, DE

Pay: $24 - $31 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, prepare, and input payroll data
  • Validate paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system
  • Ensure transactions are in compliance with internal and external payroll, tax, and wage and hour laws, policies, and practices
  • Check, audit, and maintain payroll records
  • Answer and resolve employee inquiries relating to direct deposit, check reissue, Tax elections, PTO, etc.
  • Calculate manual checks and record upon request

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of payroll experience
  • Payroll tax knowledge
