Position Summary/Objective

We are seeking a passionate, driven, detailed oriented and collaborative Facilities Supervisor to provide leadership and collaborate to create a safe, productive, and pleasant physical work environment that will support the Company's efforts to maximize sales, margin, and profit with a customer service focus. This position is responsible for the safety, security, maintenance, and vendor management of our cultivation and production facility in Fitchburg. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and has demonstrated leadership experience, as he or she will be given significant responsibility over the facilities of our business to deliver a best-in-class and innovative cannabis product. Previous cannabis experience is a plus but not required; however, all candidates should have some familiarity and comfortability with cannabis. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and ensure timely completion of all repairs.
• Maintain all facilities equipment, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems, and infrastructure throughout site to ensure efficient operation and productivity targets.
• Understand all aspects of production and adhere to strict safety, quality, compliance, and production standards.
• Manage facility vendors, service agreements, repair schedules to keep operation running with proactive systems maintenance; execute a preventative maintenance schedule and integrate with site functions.

• Effectively manage the repair, maintenance, and safety budget while minimizing down time and assuring facilities are maintained to Good Manufacturing Practice
• Work with the Senior Maintenance Manger to ensure site adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and is legally compliant with all OSHA, state, federal, and local regulations.
• Follow all relevant SOP's including but not limited to fire, safety, evacuation, laboratory, and facility SOPs.
• Manager vendor relationships with local service providers
• Work collaboratively with compliance, retail, security, and transportation regarding compliance, loss prevention, security, and logistics on all mutual issues and in prioritization of needs
• Provide logistical support for production functions, including supply procurement and distribution logistics; oversee the inventory management of spare parts and maintenance consumables.
• Work with leadership to develop community outreach strategies for site location.
• Lead facility initiatives and specific projects assigned by the Senior Facilities Manager.
• Manages the Facilities Technician(s) in the facility.
• Work collaboratively with other Ethos sites and management to solve common problems.
• Report directly to the Senior Facilities Manager

Qualifications

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Work Experience:

• 5+ years of facility maintenance management experience

• Understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials
• General knowledge of equipment and facilities upkeep, with a focus of industrial, MEP, plumbing, and Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
• Experience or considerable exposure to a manufacturing or construction environment
• Experience and proven track record in meeting facilities and maintenance goals in a competitive, dynamic environment
• Experience in and/or understanding asset management and CMMS.
• Work history that demonstrates stability, progressive responsibility, and willingness to accept new duties.
• Development of proactive and conditionally based maintenance practices.

Other Requirements:

• Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet.
• Must pass stringent background test requirements of MA.
• Certification(s) preferred: Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), Project Management Professional (PMP), First Aid/CPR or EMT

Compensation:

This position is classified as Exempt and is not eligible for overtime pay.
