Job Description

Basic Function:
To assemble, test, repair and package Pneumatic product.

Scope/Supervision:
A positive working relationship with team members, value stream leaders, supervisors, and support departments.

Responsibilities:

* Must be able to read and understand bills of material and routings.

* Must be able to read and interpret assembly drawings, and process, sales orders and test instructions.

* Perform and become completely familiar with assembly operations.

* Perform routine and repetitive work while maintaining a high degree of quality and quantity.

* Test pneumatic products and repair as required.

* Recognize irregularities, diagnose problems, and make repairs.

* Accurately record component part scrap utilizing First Pass Yield Program.

* Submit waste reductions/cost avoidances.

* Train new team members in designated cells.

* Actively participates on High Performance Team.

* Keep work area neat, clean, and organized using the 5S+ Safety approach and following safety and housekeeping rules.

* Be an effective team member and perform other duties as required by supervision and as responsibilities necessitate.

Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED

* Knowledge of basic computer functions

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player with minimal supervision and guidance

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to adapt to changing roles and changing priorities.
