Job Description
Our growing client is seeking an experienced Manager of Data Reporting to spearhead and advance their data initiatives. This individual will not only develop reports but will also expertly manage our team's workload, prioritize processes, and spearhead key projects to evolve our data warehouse into a more self-service platform, optimizing for team automation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of insightful and comprehensive reports, setting high standards for internal reporting practices.
- Manage workload and prioritization for the team to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
- Work to enhance the data warehouse in ways that make it more user-centric, focusing on automation.
- Lead the upcoming migration from SSRS V.12 to the latest version, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal downtime
- Collaborate closely with the BA and align strategies with broader business goals.
- Use your experience with Data Engineering and BI Teams, Data Modeling, Machine Learning or Business Insights to support the team and drive strategic goals.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess a strong proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server (SSRS, version 12 or higher). Experience in data reporting using Power BI (or Tableau) and working in a centralized data lake with structured and unstructured data is required.
Your background should include experience with data warehousing solutions, coupled with a profound understanding of data modeling principles and practices.
Note: This role is not suitable for a report developer. It requires a balance of technical acumen, leadership skills, and strategic thinking.
