Summary

CHS has as an exciting opportunity in our Finance Data Management group. We are looking for a Business Process & Data Analyst to provide stewardship for master data by enforcing and evolving the global data governance design and process for finance master data. This position will partner with finance and business functions. The ideal candidate will enjoy collaborating with other finance associates and team members, leveraging strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

This is a hybrid position, reporting to our Inver Grove Heights, MN location two days a week.

Responsibilities

Data Management and Governance:

  • Manage an ongoing queue of requests for finance master data ensuring that all requests are valid, accurate and completed within service level agreements.
  • Support master data requestors through training on data management standards and processes.
  • Work in partnership with Data Owners, Data Management Leadership and Data Council to define and set data quality standards and improve processes for the assigned finance data objects.
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, businesses, functions, and data management team to evaluate process needs and identify efficiencies in achieving automation, standardization, and continuous process improvement while defining clear roles, responsibilities and controls
  • Support CHS transformation initiatives

Data Quality and Cleansing:

  • Execute and define processes and procedures for monitoring, analyzing, correcting, and maintaining data for assigned data objects.
  • Facilitate and execute data cleansing across CHS systems with business stakeholders, data stewards and specialists
  • Engage with data stewards, data owners, data management, and data enablement teams across CHS to take appropriate actions with the goal of increasing the data’s usability, quality and fit for purpose for our business.

Data Quality Key Performance Measurement:

  • Define, Develop, and measure data quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Track and evaluate performance and collaborate with others to create efficiencies.
  • Present key performance indicator and metrics to Data Owners, Data Management Leadership, Data Council, and internal stakeholders depicting opportunities for improvement and measures of success.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in data management, or accounting and finance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and accomplish objectives as well as influence across an organization.
  • Knowledge and direct application of data governance or data management practices.
Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related degree.
  • Experience with data quality management and analytics tools.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects and tasks.
  • Experience querying, and analyzing, large sets of data.
  • Experience effectively using multiple ERP systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
