Press Break Operator - Direct Hire

Don’t miss this great paying direct hire manufacturing job in the St. Cloud area! Doherty Staffing is partnering with a state-of-the-art manufacturing company in Saint Martin, MN. We are seeking candidates for Press Brake Operator roles on 2nd shift. Training for this position will initially take place on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks before moving to 2nd shift hours.

• 1st Shift Hours: 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Thursday | 5:00am-11:00am, Friday
• 2nd Shift Hours: 3:30pm-4:00am, Monday-Wednesday | 3:30pm-12:00am Thursday

Compensation for this direct hire opportunity is $20.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Enjoy an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential once you’re fully trained and working on 2nd shift. Interested? Read more below!

What you’ll do as a Press Brake Operator:

• Set up and operate press brake machine
• Produce high quality components with minimal error
• Read and interpret prints to ensure accurate fabrication of parts
• Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements
• Measure parts using ruler, gauges, squares, and other measuring tools for quality purposes
• Load and unload materials from storage racks using a forklift

What you need to become a Press Brake Operator:

• Previous experience as Press Brake operator or other metal forming equipment is preferred, but we will train the right candidate!
• Basic blueprint reading experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers in addition to understanding fractions and decimals)
• Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
