Premier Automotive of Seaside is apart of the Premier Automotive Group that consists of 30+ dealerships across CA, TX, LA, KS, and MI. We support the Monterey County community through partnering with the Giving Hope Foundation. Job Duties

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.

• Participate in on-going company and manufacturing training and education programs.

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor and Parts Department so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. 

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Certified Hyundai and Chevrolet Technicians Preferred
• Valid driver’s license and fairly clean driving record (no major violations)
• ASE Certifications 
• Be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must pass drug screening, MVR, and background check

The Technician position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include base hourly compensation of between $31.00 and $45.00. The position also may pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $31.00 and $45.00.
