Job Title: Country Manager

Location: Guadalajara, Mexico

Work Location: Guadalajara, Mexico

Travel to the United States may be necessary.

Reports to: CEO

Summary:

Initially, the Country Manager will assist in the set-up of a Wire Harness shop and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the wire harness assembly Plant. This includes managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards are met, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer orders and deadlines. Monitor workflow and adjust schedules as needed to maximize efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train production staff, providing guidance and support to achieve performance goals. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of materials, components, and finished products to ensure adequate supply for production.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations. Conduct regular safety training and drills for employees.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitor and manage expenses related to production, labor, and materials to meet budgetary targets.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field (preferred). At least 5 years of experience in wire harness assembly and related manufacturing operations. Experience in a supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of wire harness assembly processes, materials, and quality standards. Proficiency in using relevant manufacturing software and tools. Spanish/English speaker. Should be able to travel to US.
